I'm assuming most sports fans heard the news of the death of WWE star Chris Benoit and his family. I used to be a wrestling fan, and I always loved Chris. I'm not going to get into this situation any further, besides to say my prayers go out to the whole Benoit family.

Alright, I'm going off-topic again. But, looking at the Minnesota Vikings roster..we suck! We have about as much chance at contending this season as David Wells has at winning the Boston Marathon.

Morneau/Olivo

Twins MVP first basemen Justin Morneau is listed as day-to-day after being mauled at homeplate by Marlins catcher Miguel Olivo. Here's the video.
My advice to Miguel Olivo, join the NFL!

Kevin Garnett trade?

First off, I have to admit. I know about as much about basketball as Homer Simpson knows about nuclear science. But, I have to comment on the Kevin Garnett situation. If the Timberwolves trade Kevin Garnett, they'll trade the only reason most fans (including myself) have to watch Timberwolves games. But hey, if we trade him...hello lottery pick in 08! Kevin McHale has one of the most elite players in the league on his team, but he can't seem to find the right supporting cast. We trade Garnett, I guarentee* that we will finish last next season. You will be looking back in a few years saying, "Gosh, George Bush's exit strategy out of Iraq was better then McHales exit strategy out of last place."

In other breaking news: Sidney Ponson is no longer a free agent! He has signed a contract with Nathan's hot dog eating competition. All my best wishes to Sidney..keep wolfin' them down!

Alright. I'm D, I run the baseball autograph site Ds Autographs TTM. I'm an unemployed teenager in a small town in Minnesota. I love my Minnesota Twins (the team, not any players..yuck). I might venture into other sports, if I see the need.

My favorites:
Sport: Baseball (duh, that's why this is a baseball blog..dadurr)
Player: Pat Neshek...used to be Doug Mientkiewicz, then he signed with the Yankees.
Presidential Candidate in '08: (whoa, that rhymed!) Who cares! I can't vote. And, I still am a firm believer that a gummy bear could run for president...he'd have my vote.
